My proofreading and editorial services are billed at $30 per hour with a minimum charge of $20 per project. To be fair, hours are billed in one (1) minute increments and I have time-accounting software that I use just for this purpose.
Because of the nature of hourly projects, it would be nearly impossible to accurately asses the total cost of the project beforehand. In cases such as this, once I have received your writing quote request, I will request a reasonable deposit for the services so that I don't have to issue a refund for over-payment.

Terms and related information
When performing proofreading services, I can edit the existing html or xhtml source file or perform the content editing services in a separate document (.doc preferred, .txt acceptable) provided the web page source code in not obfuscated by javascript or other code. There is no additional charge for working directly from the source file, though I do not offer to perform any html/xhtml/css modifications. However, for security and liability reasons I am unable to edit any source files that are dynamic in nature (scripts), such as .php, .cgi, .asp, .cfm, etc.
Proofreading services are are considered a ghostwriting service and are subject to the user agreement.
