Writing content on Unfamiliar Topics

When considering a writer, often times it's best to obtain writing services from a professional who has first-hand knowledge about your topic(s). While this is not always an option, it generally is the recommended course of action when you are looking to hire a content writer. Because of the thousands of articles I have written in my lifetime, I have accrued knowledge on hundreds of topics, though that doesn't necessarily mean I will be the best choice for your website content creation needs.

Unfortunately for content publishers that hire freelance writers for their website's content needs, many of the low-end "writers", and that term is used loosely, merely jumble words of already written content to escape duplicate content filters. Basically, they perform the services of a good plagiarizer and really perform a disservice for their clients rather than a beneficial service.

These frauds (Ouch!) generally offer low pricing and boast about their ability to pass Copyscape's duplicate content filters; in actuality this should be a huge red flag for anybody who is looking to hire a writer. Think about it - does a professional content writer really need to be sure that their supposedly "unique" work isn't already published online?! That's actually a rhetorical question, no writer should have to check their own work for uniqueness.

My approach to research for content writing

I take a unique stance towards content writing on unfamiliar topics, namely; I do actual research. Whatever the topic may be, I pull down 5-30 reference websites that I deem to be authoritative in nature and read them. Then I read over them again and take notes; note-taking helps me with retention. Once I feel that I have a sufficient grasp on the subject, at that point I begin to write the content.

When I sit down to write content on an unfamiliar-topic, it is written from memory, not something that is copied from another article and re-worded it to make it unique. I take great pride in my work and I cannot grasp how a any "writer" with any sense about them thinks it's ok to perform this loose form of plagiarism and call it a writing service.

The best writers. . .

Are almost always those who have first-hand knowledge about your topic. However, this is not always an option when you are seeking out a content writer for your website's needs or marketing needs. Because of my stand against unethical writing practices and my quasi-unique approach to research (I'm sure other professional writers do the same thing), I believe that Pro Content Writer is a great choice for your website's content, no matter what the topic is.
